If you are just starting out and don’t have a budget to get a domain name and hosting then I would suggest doing a combination of building websites on places like wordpress.com and also submitting relevant articles on places like ezinearticles.com, goarticles.com, and more. This should be a good start to help you learn more about internet marketing as it takes awhile to get used to all of the tips and tricks involved to make a large profit. I have personally known people who are making $100+ a day without having their own website which isn’t huge money but to many it is a great extra income.

Like you, I used Clickbank for the first 5 months I did affiliate marketing and made about $200 a month. I just did not find many of the products that great to try to sell and most did not convert very well. So, I did some research and found this guy named Matt Bacak who brought to my attention that Clickbank is not the only affiliate network out there. I joined a couple of different affiliate marketing networks such as Commission Junction, Share A Sale, and Clix Galore. I can’t really say which one is going to make you the most money since I don’t know what kind of products that you want to promote, but here is what I do to get the most out of my affiliate marketing sites.

I check the networks to see what kind of products they have based on the keywords I have chosen for my site. Then, I compare them to see which product or service looks the best and which one has the history of doing the best. Then, I pick that product and go with it for at least 1-2 months and then re-evaluate it to see if one of the other products may be better.

Sometimes I find that Commission Junction is the best and other times it may be Share A Sale that makes me the most money. It all depends on what type of product that you want to try to sell and what topic it is on. Do your research and don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

Oh, and I have been doing affiliate marketing now for almost a year full-time after getting laid off and I have now reached the same amount of monthly income that I had at my engineering job, so you can make full-time AM your goal and success can be achieved.

Without any internet connection all you can do is make voice calls, send text messages and use apps that are already installed and don’t need internet access. They will tell you when you install them if they need internet, a lot do.

The internet connection can be either from the cell network using a data plan or over wi-fi.
If it’s ok that some of your phones features won’t work when you’re away from a wifi hotspot then you can manage without a data plan.

All the things you listed need the internet.
Technically GPS works without internet but GPS on it’s own isn’t much use. Things like google maps do need a network connection to get the map of where you are.

There are plenty of websites out there where you can submit your articles and get money for them. Many websites will let you earn passive income, which means that you get a percentage of the money they get from ad revenue (the money they get from people clicking ads that are on your article’s page). There are also websites where you can be paid upfront for your article.

GPT sites: Over the internet, I think it’s safe to say that there are millions and millions of GPT sites (“Get Paid To”). A GPT site is almost always a site with a bunch of listed offers you are paid to complete. Really, the magic of GPT sites is that everyone wins – the website gets visitors, the GPT site gets money from the website, and they give part of it to you! Some GPT site offers, you have to pay for. I try to avoid those, though there are two reasons for which I would complete a paid offer (that you are paid to complete):
1. The GPT site gives you more than you had to pay for completing it. For instance, you are paid ten dollars to buy a two dollar necklace.
2. You actually would complete it anyway. For instance, if you wanted to buy an account on Netflix, why not get paid for doing so?

Well, I would still start with the forums first, and just join in some conversations, be helpful and interested etc. Then…as part of that discussion, or open a new one, ask the question if anyone would be interested in forming a (small?) mastermind group where you exchange ideas about internet marketing, or where you help each others business further.

The idea of a mastermind group is really powerful. It is the one factor that brings many businesses to “next level” as they say…and it can be great for your work ethic too: the group expects you to perform, so you do

Be more specific though if you want to chat only about certain aspects of internet marketing, such as product creation, search engine optimization, pay per click etc…so that you dont get people whose interest you don’t share.

You could start with the warriorforum or digital point, or abestweb.com and volunteer to set u a mastermind group! Skype conferencing or any other chat system will work fine, such as MSN or AOL messenger or ICQ etc.

I bet some people will jump at that chance, especially if you can define what you would like to group to achieve, or what individual members can achieve etc.

Most people start a product before knowing their targeted market problems.

I’ll be looking for questions, problems, wants, needs and topics that
show a lot of activity.

To find people’s problems, here are the main resources you should use:

- Search Engines
- Forums
- Newsgroups

Identify the problems that people have in your niche, then create a product.

You must search for questions like:

* How do I ____

* Where can I ____

* Why the heck cant I ____?

Once you find an answer, you can start brainstorming a product creation idea.

I would suggest you to create an info product (Audi, video or Ebook).

It will take a while and a bit of work. But everyone I know that tried it has been successful. Plus it’s better than a job because it teaches you long term skills about making money. You learn to become your own boss and work your own times.

You can use blogspot for affiliate marketing. But I suggest you get your own domain instead – from a credibility point of view, I think people are less likely to buy from a blogspot and more likely to buy from a domain.

I spent many years doing affiliate marketing poorly so I’ll share some of my experiences.

(1.) Be sure you have a PROFESSIONAL looking website. I have a website sitting at http://www.xspirulina.com that I paid someone in Serbia $50 to do. The purpose of the site was to see if the product would sell and at what price. Well, about 50% of the people who got to the first page left. Why? I don’t know for sure but my guess is because it looks like I paid $50 for it.

(2.) Do some research on SEO or pay someone to do it. This is worth GOLD. If no one can find your site then you’re not going to sell any items.

(3.) Have a good understanding of Adwords before diving in. I spent a fortune on Adwords when I first started without much to show for it. Why? Because I had a rosey outlook for things like conversion rates.

(4.) Know that very few people make a fortune at this. If you work hard and long — 5 or 6 hours a week for a full year — you’ll start to see returns. I’m an affiliate with Overstock.com and my website http://www.eHalfOff.com (or the redesign I’m working on at http://www.eHalfOff.com/online-shopping) makes about $0.04 per visitor I bring to my site. I hope to double or triple that with my redesign.

(5.) Know how people are finding you. It took me the better part of a year to achieve a high ranking for the phrase: discount shopping for eHalfOff.com. Most of my customers find me using this phrase. However, in the past 90 days, customers have found my site using over 500 different keywords and phrases. I use this data to help me determine which words and phrases to target next. You never know when you’ll stumble across a word or phrase that works well.
